At Rainbow Village, we are genuinely blessed with the support of a growing network of individuals and corporate, community, and faith partners. They are so faithful to our organization, mission, and the families we serve that we consider them “The Village That Surrounds Our Village.” Today, we are proud to shine the spotlight on one of the most fervent members of that extended Village… Northside Hospital.
Eight Years and Counting…
For the last eight years, Northside Hospital has been proud to support our mission to Bring Help, Hope, Housing, and Healing to families experiencing homelessness. With a desire to enrich the communities it serves, Northside Hospital has often sponsored Rainbow Village events, beginning with one of our largest fundraisers of the year – our Second Chance Golf Classic. In 2020, Northside Hospital Gwinnett CEO Debbie Bilbro joined our Board of Directors. And in 2022, Northside Hospital became the Presenting Sponsor for our largest fundraiser of the year – our “We Are Family” Benefit Gala. Last year, the health system that spans 25 counties with five acute-care hospitals, more than 300 outpatient facilities, 3,700 providers, and 29,000 employees became Presenting Sponsor for all Rainbow Village events – including our Golf Classic, Women’s Giving Circle “Better Together” Events, and our annual Gala.
Most recently, Northside Hospital Duluth was front and center at the 2024 Second Chance Golf Classic at TPC Sugarloaf. Jay Dennard, COO of Northside Hospital Duluth, kicked off the tournament just before the shotgun start and welcomed the players back to the 19th Hole Reception following their round of golf on that beautiful Monday in April.
Throughout the event, Northside Hospital Diagnostic Clinic Duluth was on site to highlight the care they provide to the local community. Its dedicated team specializes in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Nephrology, and Rheumatology.
